Spikenard Essential Oil

MEDITATIVE, SEDATIVE & RESTORING – This heavy, sweet-woody, spicy oil is said to be one of the most powerful sedatives in aromatherapy. It is a diuretic and helps the body to detoxify, which helps fight cellulite. Beneficial for the menstrual system. Use to restore balance and rejuvenate mature skin. 

Benefits: 

• Due to its sedative nature Spikenard has a calming effect, and is often used in alternative medicine to alleviate anxiety, stress and insomnia
• Thought to help destroy bacteria and fungi and therefore is helpful to treat Athlete's foot and other chronic skin conditions such as  psoriasis, allergic skin reactions and rashes
• Add to shampoo to treat dandruff

Colour Signature: Red

Ingredients:  100% Pure Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi) Essential Oil

Directions: Mix 4-8 drops in one tablespoon of Jojoba oil or another carrier. Add to a Colour Bath®, foot soak or massage directly on afflicted area. Use 2-3 drops in hair and body care applications or in an aromatherapy diffuser.
